Christian Education Division of the Southwest Association works to empower Christian educators in the local church and serve as a resource for them. They provide support for youth ministry, adult education and children’s programming. They regularly sponsor an annual Rejoice and Refresh Retreat for Christian educators and a Confirmation Retreat in the fall for area confirmands.
Members of the Christian Education Division are elected for a three year term and may be elected for two terms.
Lois Rosko ( 12) is the Chairperson of the Christian Education Divison. In addition to Chairperson Lois Rosko, fellow members of the Christian Education Division are Delisa Buckingham-Tayler (11), Lisa Hart (11), Phil Haslanger (13), Gail Holmes (12), Jeff Rabe (12), Nicole Rosenthal (13), Jan Veloff (11) and Lay Coordinator, Nancy Potter.
Faith Practices is a new set of innovative online resources developed by the United Church of Christ for every age group and setting in your congregation. Created by and for local churches, Faith Practices helps us practice and discuss our faith in daily life.
